The Monash Fairy Tale Salon 
I’m very excited to hear about your Fairy Tale Salon – I am an author who explores fairy tales in my work, plus I am in the final months of a doctorate on fairy tale retellings at UTS. My most recent novels are THE WILD GIRL, which tells the story of Dortchen Wild, the young woman who told the Grimm brothers many of their most famous stories in secret, forbidden to see her one true love Wilhelm Grimm by her autocratic father; and BITTER GREENS, which entwines a retelling of Rapunzel with the dramatic true life of the women who first told the tale as we know it, the 17th century French writer Charlotte-Rose de la Force.
