Held at the Glen Eira Town Hall, VIC

A symposium comprised of academic papers and creative performances of fairy tales. Given as part of the Glen Eira Storytelling Festival and funded by the the Monash University Centre for Australian and Postcolonial Writing and one of our valued members, Louisa John-Krol.

May 2013 – An Afternoon in Fairy Land

Held at Monash University, Clayton Campus

A symposium comprised of academic papers and creative performances of fairy tales. This event was held in honour of the exhibition In Fairy Land: An Exhibition of Fairy Tale Books which was given by the Rare Books Collection at Monash University from March 6th – June 7th 2013.

  1. What a wonderful website! I was honoured to be part of your first symposium, and very sorry I missed the second. Having a record of the day here helps me to feel part of it, though. Are there any plans to publish the papers? Your regular salon is very inspiring and this website is sure to draw together fairy tale enthusiasts from far and wide. Well done : )
